Taking Responsibility For What You Attract
Tenants, Evictions And Foreclosures 101TAKING RESPONSIBILITY meant that I had to stop blaming others and feeling sorry for myself. Despite my believing I knew what I was doing, my venture into real estate investment became a financial disaster. It’s been about three years and I still am dealing with the consequences of my choices. However, it’s been emotionally and spiritually liberating as I’ve been taking responsibility and realizing that I attracted and created my problems. I had to: I used to blame the man who sold me the house and the tenant I had to evict. Eventually, I was able to admit to myself that I made the choices and put myself into the hole. There was no need for me to get down on myself for the choices I made. I began to feel free of the feelings of failure as I simply accepted what I had done.

However, TAKING RESPONSIBILITY for wrong thoughts and actions involves more than admitting and accepting. It is critical to EXAMINE YOUR THOUGHT PATTERNS that led to the choices and then change them. Otherwise, what is in your habits and your subconscious mind will continue to control you.
The Law of Attraction gives great hope for change; by changing your thoughts and mindset, you can change your life. But, before you jump in with both feet by trying to redirect your thoughts by all sorts of affirmations and visualizations, it is imperative that you examine your life and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR THOUGHT PATTERNS that have put you where you are. You Created The Reality You're LivingWherever you are today, whether it be the relational, psychological or financial areas of your life, you are where you are because of the thoughts, choices, actions that you have made. Just as sure as you can create a new life for yourself by changing your thoughts, you have already created the life you are experiencing by your lifetime of thoughts, attitudes and choices. There can be no debate here. Get Away From The Blame Game
It is usually not a comforting matter to realize that you have created the patterns and habits of your life. Your parents, teachers, bosses or ex-spouses are not to blame. In fact, there is no one to blame; including yourself, and especially yourself!
Blaming solves nothing; taking responsibility for yourself is not blame; it’s simply owning up to the fact that you made decisions based on a previous mindset. However, as you accept that fact, it can literally be the beginning of a new life. Like Attracts Like-Choices And Consequences Follow The MindsetI came to realize that I never developed an organized and clear plan for real estate investing. I had all sorts of ideas and approaches. I had read many times that a plan was critical in becoming successful in this field. However, I see now that my thinking was cluttered and disorganized.

As I examined this area further, I began to see that cluttered and disorganized thinking had become a pattern in my life. The choices that I made in real estate investing simply followed the psychological groove that I had cut. I realized that no matter what avenue I would take in attempting to become financially prosperous, it would be short-circuited because of the pattern of cluttered and disorganized thinking that I had accepted. TAKING RESPONSIBILITY meant I needed to deal head-on with the disorganized and cluttered thinking and behavior.
New Habits - Getting Organized To Attract The Better And The BestThe ways that I began to change involved taking action in very practical areas. I had always realized that I had accepted living in a cluttered and disorganized home. So,I have taken steps to make it a priority in becoming more organized and getting rid of the clutter: throwing out old, unused items, rearranging my bedroom and making it attractive with artwork and some sharp art deco (one of my obsessions). I also came to see that I rarely had my finances under control. Not that I overspent; I simply was disorganized in my spending and hadn’t balanced a checkbook in decades; hardly taking responsibility! So, I made a budget and kept track of literally every penny I spent! It was no coincidence that I was able to start paying off debts as well as put aside some money for 3 vacations trips in 14 months. I have no doubt that if I hadn’t begun to work on these areas of my life, I would continue to act in the same way that I always had. I am equally confident that as I am changing my actions (many times it’s the best way to change our thinking), I am developing new patterns of thinking. New Thinking = A New Life!I am seeing myself more as an organized, deliberate man who is practicing prosperity (that’s no small miracle). In TAKING RESPONSIBILITY for my old thought patterns by changing my habits, my lifestyle is becoming more aligned with the thoughts and dreams I have for myself. The previous conflict between what I want and how I really think is being resolved. That is a powerful truth. I am attracting more and more of what I desire. I am TAKING RESPONSIBILITY and making choices aligned and in harmony with the principles of The Law of Attraction. I AM EXCITED ABOUT MY LIFE.
Real power comes from within. All power that anybody can possibly use is within man, only waiting to be brought into visibility by his first recognizing it,and then affirming it as his, working it into his consciousnessuntil he becomes one with it.The Master Key SystemPart 8By Charles F.
