Affirmation For Personal Growth - Become A Person Who AttractsCauses Before Effects - Personal Qualities Before Possessions
When it comes to affirmations, I have a strong bias toward developing an AFFIRMATION FOR PERSONAL GROWTH (seeking personal qualities) rather than possessions. That’s because if most of your affirmations have to do with money, cars, homes and such things, how are you developing the qualities required to gain them? What Causes Attraction? Even though you may read about checks suddenly appearing in someone’s mailbox after a brief fling with an affirmation for abundance, you must never forget that prosperity and abundance are always a result of personal qualities. They are literally logical and reasonable effects flowing out of a person whose personal characteristics are the causes creating them. It’s always an “inside job.” Successful people not only have successful ideas and self-concepts, they have successful habits that demonstrate their successful personal characteristics. Some Law of Attraction writers have referred to affirmations as seeds. If seeds are to produce a good harvest, they need proper soil and mindful care. If who you are and who you are becoming is the proper soil, then the affirmation seeds will produce good results. Likewise, if your personal qualities are not “good soil,” then you simply can’t attract anything better than what you’ve been attracting. That’s why you must develop an AFFIRMATION FOR PERSONAL GROWTH. All the material goods and abundant lifestyle you are seeking are effects. So, what are the causes of these effects? It has to be more than repeating some affirmations. YOU MUST BE THE CAUSE. You will attract who you are; no more/no less. Each is an AFFIRMATION FOR PERSONAL GROWTH. These characteristics are causes. As I use the creative and creating power of my mind to affirm and visualize them, I am developing definite plans for acquiring them (you can’t sit around and hope they appear, you must work and “prepare your soil”). Successful and prosperous people have these qualities. The effects will naturally “grow” from these causes. This is a highly effective way to move from being someone “playing around” with the Law of Attraction and hoping to magically attract things and move toward being a person with initiative and power who attracts what he desires because he is an attractive person. But, I am absolutely convinced that as my personal characteristics develop I will become a person of attraction. I’m developing causes and letting God/The Universe take care of the effects. Strength and power come from inside. Affirmations are not tools to attract things, they are tools shaping and forming a person of magnetic impact!
